Dr Ravi Banwait (MBChB BSc MRCGP FRACGP)
Dr Ravi is a caring and experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive care across all aspects of family medicine, including WorkCover and TAC consultations. He graduated from King’s College London and the University of Birmingham in 2011 and spent four years working in hospital settings across a range of medical specialties before completing his specialist training in general practice.
Dr Ravi is also actively involved in medical education. He supervises medical students from the University of Melbourne, sharing his knowledge and experience to help train future doctors. As a supervisor for GP registrars, he supports trainees through their clinical development and training. He also serves as an examiner for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, contributing to the assessment and quality standards of general practice in Australia.
In addition to his work as a GP, Dr Ravi has a particular interest in skin cancer medicine. He runs a dedicated skin cancer clinic where he performs detailed mole checks and skin cancer assessments, offering both preventative care and early detection.
Known for his approachable manner and thorough clinical care, Dr Ravi is highly regarded by both his patients and colleagues. His dedication to providing evidence-based, personalised care makes him a trusted GP within the community.

Dr Sumitha Kumar (MBBS FRACGP)
Dr Sumi is a caring and experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive care across all aspects of family medicine. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), having completed her specialist training in general practice in Australia after graduating from medical school in 2013.
Dr Sumi enjoys the variety that general practice offers and particularly values the long-term relationships she builds with her patients. She believes in taking the time to understand each patient’s individual needs and enjoys supporting patients to improve and maintain their health throughout different stages of life.
Her areas of interest include chronic disease management, preventative health, sexual and reproductive health, minor procedures and skin checks. She also works within The Mole Clinic, providing dedicated skin cancer assessments alongside her general practice work.
Known for her friendly and approachable manner, Dr Sumi is committed to providing thorough, evidence-based and personalised care to her patients.
Outside of medicine, Dr Sumi enjoys travelling, discovering new restaurants and trying different cuisines. She keeps active with Pilates and enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, Marcel. She is also a black belt in Taekwondo!
